My MOMs group play group visited this awesome place in August. Thought you'd like to see some pictures of animals you don't often get to see up close! (and sorry this is a late post, I wrote it and it fell by the wayside...maybe the sun will be a good pick-me-up if you're experiencing never-ending snow.)
Hidden Valley Animal Adventure, a little south of Batavia, NY, is well worth the trip! (By the way, this is not a paid advertisement or review, I've received no incentive from this park, and have in no way been compensated to write about this animal park. I am solely expressing my personal opinions and experiences.)
From their website:
Hidden Valley Animal Adventure "was started by Hans Boxler and is family operated. Hans has been a successful dairy farmer for over 60 years. Take an adventure on the specially designed tour vehicles, where guests will view and feed over 30 different species....The purpose of Hidden Valley Animal Adventure is to provide education and entertainment."
